LHTEE has a long record of research on the interactions between Economy, Environment&Society; the three pillars of sustainable development. LHTEE was actively involved in the GREEN-AgriChains (http://www.green-agrichains.eu/) project which aimed at further enhancing its research potential so as to be established as a prominent stakeholder of innovation in the areas of green supply chain management, particularly in the agri-food sector.

ANIMA Investment Network – MADRE
ANIMA Investment Network is a multi-country cooperation platform for economic development in the Mediterranean. The ANIMA network gathers national and regional investment promotion agencies, international organisations, business federations, innovation clusters, financial investors and research institutes from the region. It is operated from Marseille (France) and is chaired by Khalil Laabidi, General Manager, FIPA Tunisia.

CIHEAM- International center for advanced mediterranean agronomic studies – Mediterranean agronomic institute of Montpellier – MADRE
As an intergovernmental organization of 13 Mediterranean countries, specialized in agriculture, CIHEAM-IAMM has developed a solid experience on technical and economic aspects on food security and nutrition in the MED area. Through training and research methods anchored in field experience, it has developed capitalization methodologies to describe and address challenges on interactions between rural and urban areas leading to sustainable territorial development.

The ER is the 3rd region in Italy for n. of firms that have invested in green technologies. More than 400 firms located in Bologna are green and are clearly growing. There are also flanked areas that show signs of conversion to cleaner production. The Agricultural development is supported by the higher education and ERDF funds.

The CRITT is a french Innovation and technology Transfer Center dedicated to food processing industry. Created in late seventies by the food processing industry, the CRITT Agroalimentaire Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur is the dedicated tool for innovation and technology transfer on food industry in south west of France. We have close links and cooperation with more than 500 food firms in the region and work with more than 200 firms each year.
