The Green Growth Community will take part in this year’s edition of the Re-Think forum highlighting the work of the ARISTOIL PLUS and the PEFMED PLUS projects

The Re-think Circular Economy Forum will be held in Milan and online on the 10th and 11th of February 2022. The two days forum organised by Tondo will focus on five key sectors for the circular transition in the Italian context and beyond: Agri-food; Textiles and Fashion; Cities; Materials and Technologies.

The Interreg MED Green Growth Community (GGC) will participate in the forum on the first-day – Thursday 10th of February, with a half an hour session at 12pm as part of the section dedicated to agri-food. Gaetano Zarlenga – director of CUEIM (Italian GGC partner), will present the community and introduce the key results achieved, giving the floor to the capitalisation projects ARISTOIL PLUS and PEFMED PLUS.

Emilia Arrabito – Director of Svi.Med, will explain how ARISTOIL PLUS is transferring the guidelines for the production of extra virgin olive oil developed in the first phase of the project. Nicola Colonna – Biotechnology and Agroindustry Division at ENEA, as PEFMED PLUS project coordinator will share with the audience how they are replicating the methodology and transferring the outputs of the first project phase adapting them to the agri-food sector in the Adriatic basin.
