  Piemonte is a region in the Northwest of Italy, one of the 20 regions of the country.

  It has an area of 25,402 square kilometres and a population of 4,4 million. The capital of Piemonte is Turin. The Regional Government is composed by the President and the Ministers. Regional Directorates support the Regional Ministries in the elaboration, preparation and delivery of regional policies and strategies.

  finMED is implemented and leaded by the Regional Directorate for Financial Resources and Assets.

  Responsibility of the Directorate is the technical assistance to the Regional Government for the quantification of financial resources to be allocated to the different purposes under the legal and administrative regional competences. It is in charge of the assignation, to each Regional Directorate and Unit, of necessary resources to pursue their objectives and to implement regional programs. Additionally it is responsible for the analysis of regional policies in support of acts of economic planning and the coherence between development plans at various scales and the regional planning.

  Based on these competences, it provides the methodology for the finMED overall project implementation and steer project activities toward public authorities and for the elaboration of financial solutions and mechanisms to deliver green growth policies.
