The Union for the Mediterranean and the Interreg MED Green Growth Community are organising a series of webinars on green and circular economy practices, always keeping the focus in the Mediterranean. The first webinar will take place online the 21st October 2021 at 9.30am CEST. Inspirational keynote speakers will provide current insight and future predictions on the importance of food losses, food waste reduction and organic waste management in the Mediterranean region.

As a participant you will get the opportunity to learn from the practical experiences regarding current initiatives, programmes and projects on the ground provided by different organisations like FAO and territorial cooperation programmes such as Interreg MEDPRIMA and ENI CBC MED.

You will be able to interact with the speakers through Q&A sessions and to provide your own insights on the current problem facing the Mediterranean food systems through the interactive online tools. This webinar will be also an opportunity for you to create new long-lasting collaborations to continue to provide innovative solutions to ease the transition to a green and circular economy in the Mediterranean region.
