  The anchor areas of UAlg are: Sea and Marine Sciences; Tourism; Agrofood, Health and Well-being; Arts & Heritage. CCI are considered in our R3 as an emergent and transversal sector to be stimulated.

  
  Start-ups and support for Technological based SMEs are an important role of UAlg, which is carried out through its Division of Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer (CRIA). CRIA promotes relations between University and Industry, increases the technology transfer (TT), supports the start-ups, promotes the use of IP rights mechanisms and manage the Business Incubator of the university.

  CRIA has a wide experience in developing ETC projects and works close collaboration with regional stakeholders.
