  ISI / ATHENA is a leading Research Institute in ICT and Knowledge Technologies and their applications in different domains including Smart City, and Energy Management Efficiency. It has a solid scientific background that will be utilized for testing of Smart City applications in MED participating territories and 2 pilot deployments.

  Part of Western testing Greece will be done in the Patras Science Park building that ISI resides with reference to intelligent living labs. ATHENA has a strong commitment towards innovation support through its Corallia unit, having implemented three innovative clusters in Greece.
  Strong relation with Corallia will be exploited so as to upgrade existing cluster of microelectronics towards Smart City concepts.
