  INRIA is a leading French research organization with strong expertise in ICT.
  Participation in the project will exploit competences in capillary wireless networking in urban environment, wireless sensor network design and deployment.

  These two areas are technological prerequisites for the implementation of the Smart City concepts.

  Testing in different MED areas with different infrastructures and experimenting on top of them can take advantage of INRIA competencies. INRIA will offer its solid scientific background for scientific counseling in pilot deployments.
