• 
  The Laboratory of Waste Management of the CUT is involved in a large number of projects dealing with waste management. The laboratory is fully equipped with the infrastructure for the performance of analytical/experimental work.
  Moreover, the involved team includes experts in different fields with complementary skills.

  The team has coordinated a LIFE+ project (INTERWASTE) which aimed to the development of an innovative integrated solution for the combined treatment of organic waste and wastewater.

  Currently, the team is coordinating LIVEWASTE (LIFE+), aimed at the development and optimization of an integrated solution for the management of livestock waste towards the production of clean water, energy and useful, high-value products.
