  IDA was established as an operational body entrusted with the implementation of development programs of the Region of Istria.

  Its primary role lies in the stimulation of the development of small and medium-sized entrepreneurship in the Region through securing financial support to SMEs, delivering educational courses to SMEs and public institutions, developing entrepreneurial initiatives, “infrastructures” and support services (business incubators, business zones and cluster initiatives, implementation of different interregional and international projects).

  Its statutory competences and experiences include SMEs’ innovation promotion and internationalization.
