  • As an intergovernmental organization of 13 Mediterranean countries, specialized in agriculture, CIHEAM-IAMM has developed a solid experience on technical and economic aspects on food security and nutrition in the MED area.

    Through training and research methods anchored in field experience, it has developed capitalization methodologies to describe and address challenges on interactions between rural and urban areas leading to sustainable territorial development.

    Its broad networks of academics, public institutions and practitioners around the Mediterranean allows CIHEAM-IAMM to capitalize on complementary knowledge and disseminate relevant results at transnational scale, according to the local specific challenges and needs.
