The Circular Economy Stakeholder Conference is the main gathering of the European Circular Economy community. This edition will be held online on the 1st and 2nd March 2022 under the title “Towards a new normal: Sustainable products for sustainable consumption.
This fifth edition of the Circular Economy Stakeholder Conference —organised jointly by the European Commission, the European Economic and Social Committee and the French EU Council Presidency—will focus on the main upcoming milestones in the implementation of the Circular Economy Action Plan as well as the next steps needed to achieve a circular economy. The event will provide participants with the opportunity to grow their network of circular partners.
More specifically, Day 1 of the conference will present and discuss the latest circular economy policy developments setting the scene for upcoming initiatives to make sustainable products the norm. Day 2 of the Conference will showcase the successes, challenges and opportunities when it comes to circular cities, retailers and consumers, procurement, food waste and the bioeconomy, textiles, network governance, construction and infrastructure, and economic incentives.
The Green Growth Community is a member of the Coordination Group of the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ECESP) and will participate in the parallel workshops during the second day. You can discover the agenda and register here.
