The Green Growth Community partner ANIMA organises an experience-sharing webinar the 30 September to inform participants about the major global trends in the green economy that contribute to the fight against climate change.

 

The ratification of the Paris Agreement commits the signatories to control the rise in temperatures and greenhouse gases emissions, while including the development of new economic activities related to these issues. Thus, the cooperation between the public and private sectors is now needed more than ever.

The webinar organised by ANIMA in the framework of Interreg MED Green Growth project will take place the 30 September at 9.00 AM GMT and it aims to inform participants about the major global trends in the green economy sectors that contribute to the fight against climate change, and the opportunities for their development in the Mediterranean countries.

Ahmed Zohair – Director of Foreign Investment Promotion at the Egyptian General Authority for Investment & Free Zones (GAFI), and Roger Costa – FDI Promotion & Partners Manager at ACCIÓ – Catalonia Trade & Investment, together with experts from ANIMA will present strategies for attracting private investments to the green economy from public agencies in Mediterranean countries and introduce you to the opportunities and results developed following these fundings.

The panel discussion will be followed by an online debate on financial resources in the field of the green economy, organised by dynamicvision – Green Growth Community partner as well.
